Highway 605 South was inspired by years of street racing in High School. Imagine 16 year old Gary driving a '66 GTO doing wheelies in the first two gears. That was the car Vin Diesel was afraid of in The Fast and The Furious.
Gary was famous in High School for racing alone and hitting a stone wall at 90 mph launching 15 feet in the air, hitting 2 trees up there, landing 30 yards into woods flipping upside down and catching fire. Gary walked away without a scratch.
A lot of other classmates in those days did not. May the wind always be at their backs and the sun upon their faces.
